Annual Conference - Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences

Mark your calendars! The Federation's 2013 Annual Conference will
feature a panel discussion on the state of humanities and social
sciences research in Canada with Alex Usher, president of Higher
Education Strategy Associates.

John Ralston Saul, author and president of PEN International, will
deliver a keynote address, which will be followed by the awarding of
the Canada Prizes in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Chad Gaffield will talk about SSHRC's project "Imagining Canada's
Future," and four concurrent sessions will be offered: Membership
renewal, Effective use of social media, Communicating the value of HSS
research, and the CIHR renewal.

The 2013 Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting will be held on
Saturday, March 23 at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel. We will contact you
in the coming weeks with information on how to register.

Conférence annuelle - Fédération des sciences humaines

À vos agendas! La Conférence annuelle 2013 de la Fédération comportera
une table ronde sur l'état de la recherche en sciences humaines au
Canada, avec la participation de M. Alex Usher, président du groupe
Higher Education Strategy Associates.

conférencier d'honneur et son intervention sera suivie de la cérémonie
de remise des Prix du Canada en sciences humaines et en sciences
sociales.

» et quatre séances simultanées sont proposées aux participants :
Renouvellement d'adhésion, Utilisation efficace des médias sociaux,
Mise en valeur de la recherche en SH et renouveau des IRSC.

La conférence de 2013 et l'Assemblée générale annuelle se tiendront le
