Alternate Routes is pleased to announce our most recent Call
For Papers: *Capitalism in the Classroom: Neoliberalism, Education and
Progressive Alternatives*.

We hope that you will consider submitting an article for both our upcoming
conference to be held on April 4, 2014 at Ryerson University and our
special issue.


Also, we are very pleased to announce that with the publication
of our next issue – *Environmental Intersections: Climate Change,
Capitalism and Prospects for Change* – tentatively scheduled for
publication this October, AR will be going completely open access. In
keeping with our journal mandate to be a public academic journal this
ensures that our peer-reviewed articles, interventions pieces,
commentaries, online lectures and reviews reach as many people as possible.


We thank you for your continued support and look forward to
