This public lecture is part of a workshop taking place on October 19 and 20
that deals with borderlands, transnationalism, and migration in North
America. The event brings together twenty-seven historians and historical
geographers working at several Canadian and American universities. The
event is hosted by the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies and will be held
at Glendon College, York University.****
