*APPEL DE FILMS*

Nous invitons anthropologues, étudiants, réalisateurs et artistes à
soumettre leur film à Images et polyphonie des savoirs, un festival de
films anthropologiques qui s'inscrit dans le cadre du colloque annuel
de la Société canadienne d'anthropologie (CASCA) se déroulant du 13 au
16 mai 2015 à l'Université Laval, à Québec.

Cette année, le thème du congrès de la CASCA est « Paysages des
connaissances/Landscapes of Knowledges »
(https://www.casca2015.ant.ulaval.ca/). Dans un esprit de « re » «
connaissance », l'anthropologie contemporaine désire assumer son passé
occidental et colonisateur pour maintenant s'ouvrir vers de nouvelles
voies de connaissances. Cet horizon pluriel des savoirs doit être
abordé non plus uniquement par une perspective issue de l'Occident
mais bien également par la perspective des courants théoriques des
groupes étudiés. Ainsi, l'anthropologie, dans son désir d'observer les
mondes sociaux dans leur complexité, leur hétérogénéité, leur
généalogie et leur spatialité se doit d'initier la création de
nouveaux modes d'appréhension du savoir.

Les films proposés et attendus devraient s'inscrire dans cette
perspective de « paysages des connaissances » en anthropologie. Le
comité de sélection accordera une priorité à des films qui entrent
dans la thématique du congrès et s'inscrivent dans une démarche
anthropologique.

Date limite pour la soumission : 16 février 2015

Critères d'admissibilité :
- Le film doit avoir été produit après le 1er janvier 2001

We invite anthropologists, students, filmmakers and visual artists to
submit their film for the first ever IMAGES AND POLYPHONIC KNOWLEDGE
film festival that will take place at the Laval University of Quebec,
in the French area of Canada from the 13th to the 16th of May 2015.

For the first edition of the festival, we are pleased to team up with
Canadian Anthropology Society Annual Conference 2015 (CASCA)
organizing committee. This year's CASCA conference theme is «
Landscapes of Knowledges ».

To harmonize with this year's CASCA theme (see
http://www.cas-sca.ca/fr/colloque/prochaine-colloque/colloque-2015 for
more details), we especially look forward to receiving films that
approach the idea of a landcape of knowledge in anthropology including
the plural and regenerative perspectives on the conditions for knowing
the social worlds and groups that we have studied, as well as on the
conditions for representing and disseminating this knowledge. The idea
of a landscape of knowledge should be thought from all actors,
observing how to take into account social, individual and collective
worlds, subjectivities, socialities, singularities, ontologies,
languages with the both points of view in the discipline of
anthropology.

Deadlines for submissions : 16th of February 2015.

Eligibility :
-The film has to be produced after January 1st 2001.
