Programmatic Grants in Food and Health
The specific objectives of this funding opportunity are to support
programmatic research that contributes new knowledge to improve
nutritional health status at the individual and population level, compress
morbidity in relation to chronic diseases, and inform nutritional policies
and practices; support interdisciplinary collaborations that involve
researchers and knowledge-users in nutritional sciences, food,
agriculture, and other sectors in Canada and if appropriate, also with
other countries; and, facilitate effective knowledge translation
approaches to enhance the use of new knowledge to inform decision-making
in nutrition practice, nutritional guidelines, food policy, and public
health nutrition policies.

Collaborative Health Research Projects
The Collaborative Health Research Projects (CHRP) program is a joint
initiative between the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council
(NSERC) and CIHR. The CHRP program supports innovative interdisciplinary
collaborative research projects requiring participation from the natural
sciences or engineering community together with the health sciences
community. Proposed research projects must have a strong focus on
knowledge translation, and lead to health and economic benefits for
Canadians, more effective health services and products, and/or a
strengthened health care system. All applicant teams are required to
engage and collaborate with a knowledge/technology user organization that
could benefit from the research results.

Prix du partenariat des IRSC
Le Prix du partenariat des IRSC est décerné chaque année pour reconnaitre
l'excellence d'un partenariat. Les lauréats reçoivent une subvention de
recherche d'un an de 25 000 $ pour faire avancer la recherche ou appliquer
les connaissances issues d'un partenariat. Les détails sur l'éligibilité
et les critère d'admissibilité sont disponibles sur le site Web (

Subvention d'équipe : Soins de santé primaires communautaires
L'initiative de réforme des SSPC comprend trois composantes fondamentales
nécessaires pour établir les conditions pour l'innovation et la réforme
des SSPC : équipes d'innovation en matière de SSPC, scientifiques
professionnels de la santé et réseau de SSPC orientés sur le patient
(décrit ci-dessous). La présente possibilité de financement vise la

Subventions de recherche programmatique sur l'alimentation et la santé
Les objectifs particuliers de cette possibilité de financement sont les
suivants : appuyer la recherche programmatique aidant à produire de
nouvelles connaissances qui permettront d'améliorer l'état nutritionnel
des individus et des populations, de réduire la morbidité liée aux
maladies chroniques, et d'éclairer les politiques et les pratiques en
matière de nutrition; appuyer les collaborations interdisciplinaires qui
réunissent des chercheurs et des utilisateurs des connaissances dans le
domaine des sciences de la nutrition, de l'alimentation, de l'agriculture
et d'autres secteurs au Canada, voire d'autres pays, s'il y a lieu; et,
appuyer les approches efficaces en matière d'application des connaissances
afin d'accroître l'utilisation de nouvelles connaissances et d'ainsi
éclairer la prise de décisions concernant les pratiques dans le domaine de
la nutrition, les recommandations nutritionnelles, les
politiques en matière d'alimentation et celles sur la nutrition dans le
contexte de la santé publique.

Projets de recherche concertée sur la santé
Le Programme de projets de recherche concertée sur la santé (PRCS) est une
initiative commune du Conseil de recherches en sciences naturelles et en
génie (CRSNG) et des IRSC. Le Programme de PRCS appuie des projets de
recherche interdisciplinaire novateurs nécessitant la participation du
milieu de la recherche en sciences naturelles ou en génie et du milieu de
la recherche en sciences de la santé. Les projets proposés doivent être
fortement axés sur l'application des connaissances et mener à la création
d'avantages pour la santé des canadiens et pour le développement
économique au Canada, à des produits et services de santé plus efficaces
et/ou à renforcer le système de santé au Canada.

Initiative de recherche en santé conjointe Chine-Canada
L'objectif particulier de cette possibilité de financement vise à
promouvoir l'établissement d'une collaboration scientifique entre les

des organismes de recherche affiliés, de la Chine et du Canada, au moyen
de subventions de recherche concertée.

Programme Café scientifique des IRSC
L'ISPP des IRSC envisagera de financer des propositions de cafés
scientifiques qui correspondent à une ou à plusieurs des priorités
stratégiques de l'ISPP. L'ISPP accordera la priorité aux cafés
scientifiques qui comportent un partenariat entre un organisme de santé et
un organisme partenaire d'un secteur autre que la santé et qui présentent
des travaux de recherche fondés sur diverses théories, méthodes et
disciplines.

Analyse des politiques liées au renouvellement des soins de santé
Dans le cadre de la possibilité de financement « Analyse des politiques
liées au renouvellement des soins de santé », on acceptera volontiers les
analyses prospectives et rétrospectives et on encouragera fortement les
analyses comparatives. Les analyses de politiques de santé peuvent
s'appuyer sur des recherches nouvelles et/ou existantes, y compris des
recherches qualitatives, quantitatives ou à méthodes mixtes (p. ex.
analyses statistiques, études de cas, entrevues avec des répondants clés,
sondages, enquêtes, évaluations économiques, etc.).
