CASCA women's network lunch, Thurs 10 May

Tickets at $20 each are still available for the Women's Network lunch on
Thursday, May 10, at the CASCA conference in Edmonton. All details below. We

Dear Members of the CASCA Women's Network,

We are looking forward to hosting you at the University of Alberta next
month. The luncheon tickets have sold very well, at 33 and counting, so we
have arranged a move to a venue that can hold us all:

It is a bit farther away than our initial choice of restaurants, a 15 minute
walk (at a leisurely pace) along our scenic river valley trail (and two
blocks of city streets), so please let us know if you have mobility issues.

Our human conflict-catchers have ensured that no one attending the lunch is
giving a paper in the first afternoon session, but a few of you are
presenting immediately prior to lunch. To those who are not, please do
arrive on time, as lunch will be served immediately upon arrival. We have
the room until 2 pm. We will meet at the Check-in Desk and walk over en
masse at 11:45 am, leaving some maps with directions for those who are
unavoidably delayed.

We are having their shatter-thin crust pizza, rated best in Edmonton, and a
house salad. Though tea will be included with lunch, you might like to know
that Da Capo wins awards for outstanding espresso drinks and latte art.
Yours can be made to order separately, for an additional cost, at the café
bar.

Please email us with any food allergies, especially as we will order the
appropriate number of gluten-free pizzas in advance for those who would
require it.
