The conference will be hosting an online poster session. Undergraduate honours students and graduate students are encouraged to present posters of their research projects and findings. Abstracts should be 100 words.
Communications par affiche (étudiants)
Le colloque comprendra une session virtuelle de communications par affiche. Nous invitons les étudiants dans un programme de baccalauréat spécialisé et les étudiants des cycles supérieurs à présenter une affiche expliquant leur projet de recherche et leurs découvertes. Fournir un résumé de 100 mots maximum.

Prix d'excellence des étudiants finissants en anthropologie
Ce prix, lancé en 2017, a pour but d'aider les départements d'anthropologie des universités et des collèges canadiens à reconnaître leurs meilleurs étudiants finissants au baccalauréat, à la maîtrise et au doctorat, en plus de mieux faire connaître la CASCA.
Chaque printemps, les départements peuvent nommer un-e étudiant-e excellent-e à chaque niveau d'études qui vient d'obtenir son diplôme ou qui va l'obtenir dans l'année universitaire en cours. Ce n'est pas un concours national; la CASCA enverra un prix pour un-e étudiant-e à chaque niveau d'études à chaque département. Le diplôme des lauréats doit être principalement spécialisé en anthropologie, mais tous les sous-champs sont admissibles. Le processus de sélection est à la discrétion du département, mais nous espérons que la qualité de la recherche anthropologique menée par l'étudiant-e soit un critère prioritaire dans la sélection.
La CASCA accepte les candidatures pour ces prix entre le 1 février et le 1 mai de chaque année. Pour être admissible au prix, l'étudiant-e doit recevoir son diplôme entre le 15 juin de l'année passée et le 15 juin de l'année courante. Il n'y a aucun coût pour l'établissement, et les étudiants n'ont pas à être membres de la CASCA.
Un certificat de mérite et une lettre de félicitations en papier, signés par notre président-e, seront acheminés au département autour du 15 mai pour distribution aux lauréats en personne ou par courrier. Ceux-ci seront reconnus sur le site web de la CASCA dès que possible après cette date.

Outstanding Graduating Anthropology Student Awards
This award, launched in 2017, aims to help Canadian university and college anthropology departments recognize their top graduating Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD students and to promote awareness of CASCA.
Each spring, departments may select one top student at each level of study who has graduated or will be graduating in that academic year to receive an award from CASCA. This is not a national competition; CASCA will send awards for one student at each level to each department. Students specializing in any subfield are eligible, as long as their degree is primarily in anthropology. The selection process is up to the department, but we hope that the strength of the student's anthropological research is a priority in the decision.
CASCA accepts nominations for the awards from February 1 to May 1 each year. To be eligible, students must graduate between June 15 of the previous year and June 15 of the current year. There is no cost for the institution and the students need not be members of CASCA.
A paper certificate and letter of congratulations, signed by our President, will be mailed to the department for each award winner by about May 15. The department should then give or mail these to the winning graduands. Award winners will be acknowledged publicly on the CASCA website as soon as possible thereafter.
