CARMAH Research Encounter
Friday, July 6, 2018
from 3pm

Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften

Dear colleagues

We invite you to our CARMAH Research Encounter on Friday, 6 July 2018. This is a chance to meet our team of researchers and to get to know about our projects on museums and heritage - in Berlin and elsewhere. The research encounter will be featuring presentations on the three key areas of: 'Media, Affordances, and the Digital', 'Participation, Engagement, Activism' & 'Collections, Colonialism, and the Curatorial'.

This will also be the occasion to launch CARMAH Papers #1, a collection of essays based on the CARMAH conference 'Otherwise' (June 2017), which will soon be available as an open-access collection. Come by and get your free hard copy!

In addition, there will be chance to find out more and meet many of our other researchers at our discursive research tables. These will include participants from our Making Differences: Transforming Museums and Heritage in the 21st Century (Alexander von Humboldt Foundation), and our TRACES: Transmitting Contentious Cultural Heritages with the Arts (EU Horizon 2020 Reflective Societies) as well as Heritage Futures (Arts and Humanities Research Council UK), and more!
