Here are some new details about the Loretta Saunders Scholarship Fund (from
Darryl Leroux). The Community Foundation of Nova Scotia is managing the
financial side and can now give out tax receipts. When donating, please say
if you'd like one, and include your address if so. And please circulate
widely. The fund is now at about $37,000, which means it will be able to
award at least $1,500 per annum.

In order to maintain a scholarship or bursary into the future, we need a
minimum of $25,000. We are aiming for multiple awards per year.
We intend to send all donors frequent updates as the fund develops. Once it
is established, you will have the option of receiving regular updates on
award recipients and related projects. We are also able to issue tax
receipts. Please advise us if you'd like to receive one, with your enclosed
mailing address.
