This year?s SAA(NZ) conference has as its theme ?Crunch Times? ? a
reference to the economic and environmental crises facing us. Please
join us as we explore the role of science (both natural and social) in
making sense of the current conjuncture. In addition to a focus on
environmental sustainability we welcome papers on the full range of
sociological concerns.

Abstracts should be submitted in one of the following categories:
Papers - 200 word abstract, submitted by 23 October 2009
Papers will be allotted 15 minutes in the conference session, plus 5
minutes for questions. Please indicate if you would like to be
included in the papers stream on ?Environmental Sustainability?.
Posters ? 200 word abstract, submitted by 23 October 2009
Poster authors will need to be in attendance during the poster session
to be held at 3pm on Monday November 23rd
